The Weekly Links: Blade Runner Sequel, Pumpkin Tetris, Gameboy Pics of NYC

Another week has past that was full of retro and The Weekly Links is here to share it with you! What did I learn this week?
  • The mystery of Casey Kasem and the Road Trip has been solved
  • Bill Murray likes minor league baseball
  • Joan Jett doesn't shop at Hot Topic
  • Godzilla can do the "Safety Dance"
  • The car of the future has a fax machine
  • Tetris is way more fun without a TV screen
  • There are a ton of rad full length 80s movies on YouTube
The TWL video of the week was brought to my attention via USA Today. It's actually a pretty touching story of parents paying tribute each year to their son who was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer at age 2. The tribute is usually a movie-style poster, but this year for his 7th birthday, they decided to do a video...and did they ever. The dad recruited Bill Ratner and Mary McDonald-Lewis (Flint and Lady Jaye from G.I. Joe: Real American Hero) to supply their voices to the tribute video. Truly a great story and a video worth sharing!
