Recurrent Events 09/24/16: 'Magnum P.I.' TV Sequel, 'Smurfs: The Lost Village' Teaser, Nickelodeon Theme Park

Welcome to your weekly news update for retro pop culture headlines, the Recurrent Events! So a little confession, I've been spending way more time over on Agents Of M.A.S.K. than RD80s, but for a good reason. M.A.S.K. makes it's official comic book comeback next week and we actually got a 4-page teaser last night. Next week is also M.A.S.K.'s 31st anniversary and I always try to do something special for my fellow fans. So having said that, I didn't snag the usual amount of Recurrent Events articles but there are still some amazing headlines. The Magnum P.I. sequel with his daughter sounds very intriguing.

I did manage to post a couple articles on RD80s this past week:
I found out this week that the glorious Kia Tecmo Bowl ad featuring Bo Jackson has a sequel with "The Boz!" So those who might not remember the history, Bo and Bozworth had an epic showdown in a game which left Boz flat on his back. The new ad riffs on that epic moment in sports history...
