G1 Transformers and G.I. Joe Alum Gregg Berger To Attend Retro Con 2018!


Veteran voice actor Gregg Berger who contributed to Transformers and G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero has been added to the stellar lineup for Retro Con 2018! He joins Samantha Newark (Jem and the Holograms) and Melendy Britt (She-Ra: Princess of Power) for what will be an exciting weekend this coming October.

Berger began his career with bit parts on popular TV shows in the late '70s and early '80s like One Day at a Time, Too Close for Comfort, and Benson. He then broke into voice acting in 1983 as Garfield's friend Odie in an animated short and would continue to voice the lovable pooch for over three decades! Berger's other animation credits includes Grimlock, the leader of the Dinobots, on G1 Transformers along with Spirit and Firefly on G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero. He continued his TV guest appearances throughout the '80s including Night Court, Quantum Leap, Perfect Strangers, and L.A. Law. Berger has also appeared in film like Police Academy: Mission to Moscow and Spaced Invaders.


More recently, Berger contributed to Aaahh!!! Real Monsters as The Gromble, Men in Black: The Series as Agent K and Star Wars: The Clone Wars as Kalani in several episodes. He also has numerous voice acting credits for video games like Final Fantasy X, Call of Duty, and Halo Wars.
