RD80s News- Lar Park Lincoln passes at 63

The actress Lar Park Lincoln passed away at 63.  Best known for her villainess role as Linda Fairgate of Knots Landing and a telekinetic woman on the Friday the 13th Part VII, Lar had founded the Actors Audition Studio in her hometown of Dallas, TX.

She appeared in Beverly Hills, 90210 and Murder, She Wrote as well as becoming a staple on the QVC shopping channel.  Her parents were a military family stationed in Dallas, TX and was interested in acting while in the third grade.  Landing a role in the television movie Children of the Night is what jettisoned her career.

Born and raised in Clearfield, on the back roads is where I spent most of my days. Chillin' at Beef's or snackin' at Sheetz, with a couple of guys that were always good. We never caused trouble in the neighborhood. Spotting for deer never made us scared, but the fear of running out of gas made us get back there. I pulled 180s and donuts, while my friends and family think I'm nuts. All in all, it's hip to be square.
