RD80s News: David Kaff passes at 79

David Kaff who portrayed Viv Savage in the iconic This Is Spinal Tap film in 1984 has passed away in his sleep at the age of 79 on July 11, 2025 according to the band Mutual of Alameda's Wild Kingdom.  He played the lead keyboardist and starred with Michael McKean, Christopher Guest, and Harry Shearer.  The news comes as a subsequent film titled Spinal Tap II: The End Continues is planned to be released in September.
