Another year has past by as our dear founder and friend left us. Every day we think about him. Every day we wish we could send a message. Every day continues to tick by.
So many memories continue to flourish remembering our dear brother. We take another trip down memory lane with another best friend of Jason's, Kurt Smay! Kurt joined me on the latest episode of Rediscover the '80s the podcast as we reminisced about our late friend.
One of the key things that Jason remembered about Kurt was that he enjoyed Cowtales.

While there are far more things Kurt is really known for; his saxophone playing and being in a band, a bull rider, and an equal L.A. Lakers fan, within our podcasts Cowtales is what popped up!
The one thing that Wyatt was known for in the Smay household was the "chip truck." It wore many nicknames and in this podcast chip truck was a new name for it. It was often known as the Band Truck, Break Truck, and the Ice Cream Truck.
Map for reference to highlight the areas we discussed. DuBois where First Baptist Church and School are located. Grampian where Kurt first lived. Glen Richey where my dad lives. And Hyde where Kurt eventually moved to and his family remains.
