One of things that distinguished Nickelodeon as a TV channel were those fantastic bumpers during programming in the late '80s and early '90s. In the same way that network TV stations gave us special Saturday morning bumpers that led into commercial breaks ("After these messages...we'll be right back!"), Nickelodeon had a fun variety of ways to identify you were watching their channel.
