Jason and Wyatt are back and watching more obscurities from the '80s on the Rediscovered podcast. Our second episode covers the short-lived 1984 animated series Pole Position. DIC Entertainment produced 13 episodes which ran during Saturday morning programming on CBS. It would later rerun on the Family Channel and was even broadcast in the UK.
We vaguely remember watching the show in its initial run yet the transforming vehicles and the theme song have remained memorable over the years.
Thanks to the Wildbrain - Cartoon Super Heroes channel on YouTube, we recently rewatched the entire Pole Position series and are now ready to give you our take on the Rediscovered podcast. We'll give you the history and development of the show, background on the voice actors, and our favorite/least favorite episodes. Finally, we'll give you our overall take and whether we recommend that you rediscover the show or rather leave it in the past.
