Rediscovered #4: Street Hawk

Jason and Wyatt are back for another episode of "Rediscovered," a podcast reviewing obscure TV, moves, and cartoons from the '80s. Our fourth episode covers the 1985 short-lived television series Street Hawk starring Rex Smith and Joe Regalbuto. We have watched all 13 episodes including the 90-minute pilot film and are ready to discuss!

This pick was geared toward Wyatt as he had never watched the entire series while Jason had bought the Shout! Factory DVD set a few years back. We also found the series on thanks to the TVs Sledgehammer channel on Daily Motion (who also helped us watch The Highwayman in our first Rediscovered podcast.). In the era of vehicle superstars in television, Street Hawk fit right in the mold. Check out the opening credits which included an awesome narrative telling the back story...

Our podcast goes in depth on the show include its creators, broadcast history, cast, guest appearances, music, and merchandise. We'll also pick out favorite (and least favorite) episodes and elements during our watch experience. (As an added bonus in the podcast feed, you'll hear a rad live version from 2015 of the theme by Tangerine Dream.)

We also welcome your comments on Street Hawk and any suggestions for TV shows, movies, or cartoons for us to review in the future.
