Memory Jogger Mystery: PSA Commercials

In this Memory Jogger Mystery episode, Jason and Wyatt randomly choose from a group of topics (without any prior show notes) and see how much they can remember. After sharing their experience, they can then cheat by using the Google machine to find anything they might have missed from memory.

The random topic chosen during the show is PSA Commercials! Do you remember watching Saturday morning cartoons and a random public service announcement would interrupt your viewing? "This is your brain. This is your brain on drugs. Any questions?" Do you remember the safety mascots like Smokey the Bear, McGruff the Crime Dog, and the Crash Test Dummies? Jason and Wyatt jog their memories of all the PSA commercials they can remember watching as kids.

  1. One I remember well that you didn't mention is Dick Van Dyke doing "Stop, Drop & Roll" if there is a fire. And the "Hanker for a hunk of cheese" guy was actually called timer (he wasn't a piece of cheese himself) and those PSA's were called "Time for Timer". Along those same lines you could have mentioned School House Rock in general and I have great memories of those on Saturday mornings.
