RD80s News- George Wendt passes at 76

Cheers alumni George Wendt has passed away at the age of 76.  He is best remembered as playing the consistent bar patron, Norm while his resume is filled with his own talk show titled The George Wendt Show as well as appearances on Frasier, The Torellis, Alice in Wonderland, The Little Rascals, Santa Buddies, Airplane II: The Sequel, and many others.

He grew up in Chicago, IL and began his performing career as an improv artist in The Second City. His last appearance was on an episode of The Masked Singer being eliminated after his performance of "The Power of Love" by Huey Lewis and the News.
