You read the headline correctly! New York City has seen these once staple fixtures returning to Downtown Manhattan, Fort Greene, and Williamsburg portions of the city within the past few weeks. Darron Aronofsky is the director and is using these relics for marketing the new film, Caught Stealing.
While one may perceive they can pick up the receiver, drop their coins, and make a call, unfortunately this is not the case.
