Peter Cullen passed away at the age of 85.

Peter is best known as the truck voice and fearless leader, Optimus Prime, from the Transformers television and several movies. Born in 1941 in Montreal, Canada, he had his sights set on acting but found himself doing voice acting primarily. His career voice highlights include: Knight Automated Roving Robot (K.A.R.R.), The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour voice over, various voices in the Spider-Man TV series, Sour Puss from the Pac-Man cartoon, Coran and the Narrator along with various voices in Voltron: Defender of the Universe, various voices in DuckTales, and so many, many more
