NECA continues a most excellent streak of retro action figure announcements over the past few months. First, they told us about a glorious set of Contra action figures back in December. Earlier this month, we learned that Weird Al Yankovic will be getting his own action figure with your choice of classic or modern appearance (with the promise of more figures to come.) And now, the most excellent time travelers Bill S. Preston, Esquire and Ted "Theodore" Logan will be enshrined as action figures.
The Wyld Stallyns will stand 8" tall and feature tailored fabric clothing. Each character will come with a guitar accessory as well as deluxe packaging with a special surprise: a 9" x 4" x 4" cardboard insert to assemble your own phone booth time machine! Release date is set for June 2016. I'm hoping by then NECA will have an autodraft setup for my bank account.
