Recurrent Events Feb 26, 2016: 'Fuller House' Debuts, Slimer Confirmed In 'Ghostbusters' Reboot, Live-Action Pac-man Short Film

Welcome to your weekly source for retro pop culture news, the Recurrent Events! The new spinoff Fuller House hits Netflix today. I'll be checking it out this weekend although it appears critics have already told them to "cut it out!" I just hope it's good enough to get me to the debut of Pee-Wee's Big Holiday.

To my mind-blowing surprise, my RD80s Vine account surpassed the 1 million loop milestone this week in just a shade over a month! WOW! You guys must really like these little 6-second nuggets from the '80s. I've been enjoying posting clips mainly from forgotten TV commercials, most of which make me remember or just plain laugh (like this crazy karate-kicking La Choy ad I found today. See below) But whether they are nostalgic or nonsensical, it's been really fun and glad you followers have been enjoying them as well.

Here are a few articles posted this week on RD80s:

My favorite video this week I just found today via Laughing Squid. Super Mario Brothers Parkour is back performing crazy video game stunts in real life. This is what the 1993 movie should've been like!
