Recurrent Events Jan 22 2016: Atari 2600 Games Coming To Steam, Iron Maiden Releasing Mobile RPG, X-Men Web Series Debuts

Welcome to your weekly source for retro pop culture news, the Recurrent Events! More sad news this week with the passing of Glenn Frey. I really hope this trend ends soon because it's pretty disheartening for someone like me who still thrives on '80s music. As much as I enjoy going back and rediscovering the discography of these artists, it's so difficult to enjoy when it's for the purpose of a tribute article.

I didn't get a chance to record a new Recurrent Events podcast so in the meantime I'll invite everyone to go back and revisit an episode you might have missed in the archive. Please subscribe on your favorite app like StitcheriTunes, and TuneIn

I published a bunch of articles this week so go check out any you might have missed:

Thanks to an io9 article, my favorite video this week showcased the 1987 Masters of the Universe movie as a Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer. #MindBlown Yeah, it actually makes me want to watch the movie again!
