Recurrent Events Aug 20 2016: 'Beetlejuice' Coming To Broadway, 'The Lost Boys' Gets TV Series Adaptation, 'Fuller House' Welcomes NKOTB

Welcome to your weekly news update for retro pop culture headlines, the Recurrent Events! It was a great week for headlines in all categories, but I wanted to share one reboot in particular that I'm excited about. Brian over at CoolandCollected.com rebooted the League of Extraordinary Blogger this week and was really excited to see this community return. I participated many times throughout the years on RD80s and hope to continue writing and sharing articles that are spawned from the new Pop Culture League. If you write for a blog or website, you know that we ll need help coming up with ideas from time-to-time and this is a great way to get inspired. I didn't get a chance to particpate in this week's Shelfie challenge but plan to keep watching for topics each Monday. You should too!

Here are the articles released this past week in cased you missed it:
I've seen a few other modern songs get retro-ized by Tronicbox and the latest for Katy Perry's "Firework" is really fun...
