Retro Con Announces 2021 Show and Guest William Katt


Retro Con is back! After COVID-19 killed the 2020 convention, Retro Con is set to return in 2021! This year's show dates will be September 25-26 at its usual venue, the Greater Philly Expo Center in Oaks' PA. Vendor tables and early bird weekend passes are available now at the Retrocons.com website. Show hours will be 10am-5:30pm on Saturday and 9am-4pm on Sunday. Weekend passes are $26 in advance with daily admission available at the door (kids 12 and under are free with paying adult!) Weekend passes and daily admission tickets also come with one raffle ticket with a chance at some awesome raffle prizes!


Rediscover the 80s will be posting updates throughout the year leading up to the show and is planning to provide you with live coverage! Believe it or not, one guests has already been announced for the 2021 show:

William Katt "The Greatest American Hero"

William Katt is best known for playing the lead role in the classic '80s action/comedy series The Greatest American Hero. Following the exploits mild-mannered teacher Ralph Hinkley who receives a super powered suit from aliens. Promptly losing the instructions, Ralph has to learn the suit’s powers through trial and error with the help of his FBI friend Bill and girlfriend Pam. Fondly remembered to this day, you can find the show on a multitude of channels and streaming platforms. And the theme song from the show,
"Believe It or Not" is in regular rotation on radio to this day! 

You’ve seen William in several well known movies as well, including the supernatural chiller Carrie (1976), the cult dinosaur classic Baby: Secret of the Lost Legend (1985), and the popular horror/comedy movie House (1986.)
