RD80s News- Joe Don Baker Passes at 89

The only actor to play both the ally and villain to 007 agent James Bond - Joe Don Baker has passed away at the age of 89.  He appeared in three James Bond movies: The Living Daylights (1987), Goldeneye (1995), and Tomorrow Never Dies (1997).  Born in Groesbeck, TX, he played college football with North Texas then served in the U.S Army before setting his sights on New York City and the Actor's Studio.

Born and raised in Clearfield, on the back roads is where I spent most of my days. Chillin' at Beef's or snackin' at Sheetz, with a couple of guys that were always good. We never caused trouble in the neighborhood. Spotting for deer never made us scared, but the fear of running out of gas made us get back there. I pulled 180s and donuts, while my friends and family think I'm nuts. All in all, it's hip to be square.
