RD80s News: Steve Pepoon Passes at 68

Steve Pepoon, Emmy award winning writer, passed on May 3, 2025 at the age of 68.  His work spans two score as he is know for his work on Alf, It's Garry Shandling's Show, Rosanna, and The Simpsons.  He is credited with co-creating Nickelodean's The Wild Thornberrys.

Born and raised in Clearfield, on the back roads is where I spent most of my days. Chillin' at Beef's or snackin' at Sheetz, with a couple of guys that were always good. We never caused trouble in the neighborhood. Spotting for deer never made us scared, but the fear of running out of gas made us get back there. I pulled 180s and donuts, while my friends and family think I'm nuts. All in all, it's hip to be square.
