Established in 1969, the Songwriters Hall of Fame was created to honor the creativity of the writer in which we dance, sing-a-long, or cruise along to. The songwriter qualifies for such an honor after 20 years from the first commercial song release along with their song portfolio.
June 11, 2026 in New York City is where the next induction ceremony will be held for the 2026 alumni of artists. The list of inductees for 2026 include Kenny Loggins and Kiss's Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley.
