Actress Catherine O'Hara has passed away at the age of 71.

Catherine was born on March 4, 1954 and lived in Toronto, Ontario, Canada along with six other siblings. Her acting career began on Second City TV (SCTV) where she earned an Emmy in 1982. This led her into other roles including films such as After Hours, Beetlejuice, Home Alone, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, and working as recently in voice over work in The Wild Robot While she did appear in television shows on occasion, film is where the bulk of her acting career resides.
