Songwriter Billy Steinburg has passed away from cancer on Feb 16, 2026 at the age of 75.

Inducted into the Hall of Fame, he as well as fellow writer Tom Kelly are known for many 1980s hits including Alone, Eternal Heart, I Drove all Night, Like A Virgin, So Emotional, True Colors, and Unconditional Love
