RD80s News: Raymond Berry Passes at 93

Raymond Berry passed away on May 25, 2026 at the age of 93.

Raymond is known for being a two-time National Football League (NFL) champion and later took on the head coach position with the New England Patriots in 1984.  It is noted that his entire NFL career was spent with the Baltimore Colts.

Born and raised in Clearfield, on the back roads is where I spent most of my days. Chillin' at Beef's or snackin' at Sheetz, with a couple of guys that were always good. We never caused trouble in the neighborhood. Spotting for deer never made us scared, but the fear of running out of gas made us get back there. I pulled 180s and donuts, while my friends and family think I'm nuts. All in all, it's hip to be square.
