Recurrent Events Update: 'Scarface' Reboot Set For 2018, Star Wars 40th Anniversary Toys, Prince Returning To Spotify

Welcome to the Recurrent Events weekly news update for retro pop culture headlines, links, videos, and more! On Monday, Pop Rewind and RD80s will be releasing the next round of '80s Valentines We'd Like To Receive. We'll be posting 5 each on both sites and several more to our social media outlets for everyone to share with their significant others on Tuesday!

I've added a "Collecting" section to the Recurrent Events Update that is now separate from the general "Pop Culture" section. Since my feed has a nose for new collectibles, I thought a separate section would be a great addition to the update each week.

It's been real exciting to host the social media giveaways in 2017 and I've got another one coming up next week that will add some ectoplasmic residue to your shelf! The Memory Jogger Podcast will also be returning soon with some school memories and a special episode where we reveal our '80s crushes along with our friends at the 80s League.
