Claudia Wells

Claudia’s starring role as Jennifer Parker, Marty McFly’s supportive high school sweetheart in the massive 1985 hit film Back to the Future, forever put her in movie history as part of one of the greatest films of all time!

She is very spirited and loves Back to the Future and fans of the series! So please visit her table in the guest section to say hi and to get your autographs/photo ops. She’ll be right next to the DeLorean time machine!

Alan Oppenheimer

Appearing Saturday only! It’s time for the return of one the most popular guests Retro Con has ever had, someone who voiced two of the most iconic characters of the 1980s. Alan Oppenheimer has been in the entertainment business for 60 years, with on-screen parts in such hit movies and series as The Untouchables, Get SmartHappy Days, Knight Rider, Night Court, Married With ChildrenStar Trek Voyager, and many more

But if you grew up in the '80s, you’ll definitely know Alan as the voice of one of the decade’s most unapologetically evil characters (and a modern-day master of internet memes)… Skeletor! Alan played the wicked arch-foe of He-Man in over 70 episodes of the He-man and the Masters of the Universe cartoon series, plus the follow-up series She-Ra: Princess of Power, The Secret of the Sword movie, and the infamous He-Man & She-Ra: A Christmas Special.

And in a role completely opposite of Skeletor, Alan also voiced another favorite character from the '80s: The flying luck dragon from The NeverEnding Story, Falkor! Don’t miss this rare chance to meet Alan Oppenheimer at Retro Con 2022 on Saturday September 24th only!

Butch Patrick

Butch Patrick is best known for playing Eddie Munster, the lycanthrope child of Herman and Lily, on the '60s sitcom The Munsters! Though the series only ran two seasons, reruns of the show catapulted it to classic tv status loved by each new generation that discovers it, elevating the character of Eddie Munster to pop culture icon!

Butch has also been in numerous other productions in his long career, including playing lead character Mark in the trippy Sid & Marty Krofft show Lidsville, as well as appearances in The Phantom Tollbooth, Adam-12, The UntouchablesThe Monkees, The Simpsons (voicing himself!), and many many more.

Butch has been a staple at events for years and is extremely friendly to fans. Be sure to stop by his table in the guest section to say hi. Will he have Woof-Woof with him? Come and see!

Bob Budiansky

Please welcome comic book veteran Bob Budiansky to Retro Con 2022! Bob enjoyed a 20-year career at Marvel Comics as editor, illustrator, and writer. As an editor, he oversaw titles that included Spider-Man, Daredevil and Fantastic Four. As an illustrator, he rose to prominence as the cover artist for Ghost Rider, eventually taking over the penciling chores for the entire book. He also created his own Marvel Comics monthly series Sleepwalker.

Bob was also instrumental in the early years of G1 Transformers! Over a single weekend in 1983, Bob crafted character names and bios for nearly all of the Autobot and Decepticon characters from the first year of the line. These bios ended up directly on the toy packaging and were used as a guideline for writing the characters’ personalities in the G1 comic book and animated series.

Bob will be joining us both days of the show. He has also kindly agreed to be part of a panel at the show, which will include a presentation documenting his involvement with the Transformers brand. But he would also love to hear your questions about his work apart from Transformers!

The Monkeemobile

Joining the DeLorean time machine from Back to the Future and screen-used KITT from Knight Rider on the show floor at Retro Con this year will be another famous pop culture car… The Monkeemobile!!

Built from a modified 1966 Pontiac GTO, this spectacular replica is based directly on the one seen in the '60s Monkees tv show. Look for this beautiful machine in back of the hall- right next to Micky Dolenz himself! The Monkeemobile will be available for photo ops with the car by itself, as well as combo photo ops with the car and Micky!
