Dennis appeared in the pilot of The Dukes of Hazzard in a minor role attempting to cease Daisy Duke while patronizing The Boar's Nest, then re-appeared two more times throughout the series. Later, he landed a credited role on Archie Bunker's Place as a workman. He worked throughout the 1980s appearing once in several television shows before he secured his role as Principal Richard Belding; first on Good Morning Miss Bliss, then on Saved By The Bell and all of the spin-offs.
