Ever wonder how the DeLorean Time Machine was able to time travel in Back to the Future? Sure, we all knew that "this sucker is nuclear" and required power from plutonium, a bolt of lightning, or a Mr. Fusion reactor. But have you ever thought about all the little technical pieces and parts that covered the vehicle? Well, co-creator/writer/producer Bob Gale will reveal all the secrets of the DeLorean Time Machine (all versions) in a new book titled Back to the Future: DeLorean Time Machine: Doc Brown’s Owners’ Workshop Manual.
Gale along with illustrator Joe Walser, who he led Universal Studios’ restoration of the vehicle used in all three Back to the Future movies, will give us an unprecedented insight into the DeLorean’s inner workings. From its unmistakable gull-wing doors to Doc’s cutting-edge modifications, including the Flux Capacitor and Mr. Fusion. Published by Insight Editions, Back to the Future: DeLorean Time Machine: Doc Brown’s Owners’ Workshop Manual is filled with exclusive illustrations and never-before-disclosed information like unique handwritten excerpts from Doc Brown's journals, which recount his life after World War II, how he came to build the Time Machine, his first trip to 2015, and how he survived his accidental trip to 1885.
